My friends Tim and Brian flew in to Tokyo for a week and our first trip out was to Harajuku to visit the Meiji Shrine and see the cosplay girls (with a few boys) outside Yoyogi Park. They dress up as their favorite characters from anime, manga and even video games. I don't think there is anything else like it anywhere in the world.
